Today was a very productive day. As a part of my data structures and algorithms course, we have to practice problems regularly on CodeChef. I had planned to do CP during winter break but the techfest hogged up my entire schedule. Now this will give me a chance to practice programming:)

P.S. this chapter made me cry so much. I had to call my sister immediately afterwards.

17 January - 100 days of Productivity - 16/100

Hi everyone!

I am still struggling with my new daily schedule, as I came back to the gym (as a developer, sitting all day long is hard for our bodies, I had to do something!!!).

So, from now on, I will do my study session at night, as I am going to the gym early in the morning.

I am doing Duolingo, Sololearn, and MIMO everyday, and it is good, because a big shipping company found me on LinkedIn, and asked me if I was available and/or interested in a job opportunity 😯 I do accepted, but I have no idea if I am prepared for their tests 😂

Well, the best I can do is prepare myself and give my best 😬(nervous). Please, wish me luck!

16.12.2023 // day 2/100 of productivity - I completely forgot about doing this 100 day challenge (oops) so I'm starting it again now since my exams are coming up in just a few months! I spent the day working through some of the harder topics and drew out some diagrams to help me understand them.

i'm considering taking a philosophy course at some point in my degree instead of more psych. if you've taken philosophy before, what did you enjoy most/least about studying it? 🤔

21 March - 100 days of Productivity - 79/100

I am late with my study goals😅 but I am making efforts to be able to be on track again.

Keep coding DSA, reading about fundamentals, and solving questions of past tests for the national selection I mentioned in the previous post.

Let`s keep up the good work everybody! This programming-coding-tech community is getting better and better, so supportive and full of sweet people.

62/100 Days of Productivity!

Today feels like one of those quiet, steady days. Not the kind where everything is easy, but the kind where showing up matters the most. I may not have full energy, but I know I can still move forward, even if it’s slow. I’m allowed to take my time, to move at my own pace, and to rest when needed. Progress doesn’t have to be perfect; it just has to happen. Day 7/30 Digital Declutter

Today’s Plan:

Mental Health Check + Journal: Starting with some reflection, setting an intention for the day, and being kind to myself.

Finish Reading Challenge: I’m close to the end, and even a little progress will feel like an achievement.

EV Study: A few pages from Nick Enge and Chalmers. It’s okay if it takes longer than usual.

Race Engineering: Time with Smitty, focusing on the essentials.

Simulink Electric Work: Tackling it bit by bit. Small steps add up.

Fresh Air: A walk later to clear my mind and get some perspective.

University Admin Tasks: I’ll visit a few offices, take care of what I need to, and not rush myself through it.

Some days don’t have to be about pushing hard; they’re about honoring where I am. Today, I’m showing up for myself, even if it’s in small, quiet ways.

• C# - spent ~1 year so far practicing, more comfortable, can build whole sites/programs with little help

• HTML & CSS - started ~5 months ago, confident in both, can style a site without help online, still much to learn

• JavaScript + Vue - Axios - can build “full stack” applications where i do both backend & frontend and host online (love JS!!)

• REST - experienced for 5 months! can build my own REST API, use someone elses with axios & test it thoughoutly with Postman (+Javascript code)

• Unit testing & UI testing - learned so many better ways to unit test & UI test more indeph

• Started leaning Git more with commands

• SQL - can manipulate simple databases and more one from scratch

& huge thanks to my sister @niyacodes for being on this journey with me 💓

++++ I went to a 5 hour exam for all these subjects (+- more) and got the highest grade possible 🥹 (i failed my first programming exam in 1st sem!!!!) ((pic is my favorite after study-snack))

I've seen a lot more people coming on Tumblr who are starting their coding journey, which is great! If you're just starting out with coding, here are a few tips that can help you get started and improve your skills:
